I have a fairly popular instagram page @daa.doogs.farm dedicated to our dogs, Akira and Zola. We call them doogs as a nickname, which stemmed from a series of odd names, as most nicknames do. After having my son, I decided to create a children's book just for him all about our doogs. So far, I have made one book talking about why our doogs are so special to us, but in the future, I plan to create a whole series including more educational and fun content. I wrote the book and did all of the illustrations myself. I spent weeks of my free time digitally illustrating our doogs in various positions and as realistically as I could so that I can easily plop them into place in future stories.
